These 26 inch Mountain bike rear wheels incorporate black 36 hole Halo SAS rims, black Bitex heavy duty BX207, 6-bolt disc rear hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. The SAS from Halo is a multi-purpose heavy duty MTB rim with a proven record for re-defining strength. Made from T-10 heat treated alloy the SAS has an inner rim width of 30mm, an external rim width of 36mm and is recommended for tyres ranging between 2.25 to 2.8 inch. The black, anodised and polished, six sealed bearing, Bitex BX207 rear hubs with 6-bolt brake disc mount, and 6 pawls/54t engagement steel freehubs, are ideal for wheels requiring strong hubs. The hubs are set for 135mm QR – skewer provided. Choose between a steel Shimano HG freehub that will take 8 to 12 speed Shimano HG fit MTB cassettes, or 11 speed road cassettes; or a steel SRAM XD driver. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hub with Halo black spokes and nipples. Wheels have been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations.
