These 26 inch touring, trekking, and mountain bike wheelsets incorporate black 36 hole Ryde Andra 40 disc rims, black Shimano QC400, centrelock disc hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. All Andra rims are built to withstand and carry more load than regular rims and can ideally be used for not only regular e-bikes, but also transport bikes with or without motor support. The Andra 40 rim is the solution to get the strongest wheels for hard used bikes and can take up to 180 kg. From cargo bikes to family bikes (‘bakfiets’) to mountain-bike downhill bikes. The 25 mm internal width works perfectly with all the wider tyres (37-62mm) that are available. If it has to last, take the Andra 40. The Shimano QC400 centrelock disc rotor mount hubs are part of the new Shimano CUES range of components. They comprise cartridge bearings and contact seals to extend hub life. The hubs are set for 100mm and 135mm quick release – skewers provided. The rear Shimano HG freehub will take 8 to 12 speed Shimano HG MTB cassettes, or 8 to 10 speed Shimano HG road cassettes.
