These newly hand built 27.5 inch 650b gravel bike wheelsets incorporate brand new black 32 hole DT Swiss G540 db disc rims, brand new black Bitex BX106, centrelock disc specific hubs, Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. After extensive testing DT Swiss have settled on a full 24mm as the perfect width for modern Gravel bikes. The added width gives better support to wide, 35c or larger tyres, allowing the use of lower pressures, enhancing grip & comfort whilst reducing rolling resistance & tyre flex under cornering. Robust, sleeved construction gives a great value package for a wide gravel rim with a suggested maximum system weight of 130kg. The rims can be used with or without tubes. The black anodised and polished, sealed bearing Bitex BX106 centrelock hubs are good lightweight hubs that are both reliable and durable – ideal for a road/gravel disc setup with a range of freehub options. Choose between 100mm QR, 100mm x 12mm, or 100mm x 15mm for the front axle; and 135mm QR, or 142mm x 12mm for the rear axle. Also choose between a standard 11 speed Shimano HG freehub (supplied with a spacer for fewer speeds), a SRAM XDR driver, a SRAM XD driver, a Shimano Microspline freehub, Campagnolo freehub, or Campagnolo N3W freehub. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with new Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Price includes Parcelforce 48 tracked and insured delivery.
