These 27.5 inch 650b Mountain bike rear wheels incorporate black 32 or 36 hole Halo SAS rims, black Halo Spin Doctor, 6-bolt disc rear hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. The SAS from Halo is a multi-purpose heavy duty MTB rim with a proven record for re-defining strength. Made from T-10 heat treated alloy the SAS has an inner rim width of 30mm, an external rim width of 36mm and is recommended for tyres ranging between 2.25 to 2.8 inch. This rim is ideal for cross country and all mountain usage. Recommended tyre size of 40-72mm (up to 2.8 inch). The Spin Doctor mountain bike hub from Halo offers strong performance and is best suited to XC and trail bikes. With wide spoke flanges and sealed cartridge bearings the Spin Doctor offers a smooth and reliable drive, ensuring strength and longevity. The hubs are set for 135mm quick release (skewer provided), with a Shimano HG freehub that will take 8 to 12 speed MTB cassettes, or up to 10 speed road cassettes. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Halo black spokes and nipples. Wheels have been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations. Wheels are bubble wrapped and boxed properly. You can also add the Halo Spin Doctor Rear Axle kit that converts the hub to a 10mm nutted axle. Price includes insured and tracked Parcelforce postage.
