These 27.5 inch 650b Mountain bike wheelsets incorporate black 32 hole Halo SAS rims, black Shimano TC500 front and TC600 boost rear, centrelock disc hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. The SAS from Halo is a multi-purpose heavy duty MTB rim with a proven record for re-defining strength. Made from T-10 heat treated alloy the SAS has an inner rim width of 30mm, an external rim width of 36mm and is recommended for tyres ranging between 2.25 to 2.8 inch. The Shimano TC500 and TC600 centrelock rotor disc mount hubs are part of the new Shimano CUES range of hubs with cartridge bearings, quick engagement freehubs and labyrinth seals. Recommended for use with MTB, e-MTB, and cargo biking. The hubs are set for 100mm x 15mm front, and 148mm x 12mm boost rear. The rear Shimano Microspline freehub is for Microspline cassettes only.
