These 27.5 inch 650b Mountain bike rear wheels incorporate black 32 hole Halo SAS rims, black Shimano TC600, centrelock disc rear boost hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. The SAS from Halo is a multi-purpose heavy duty MTB rim with a proven record for re-defining strength. Made from T-10 heat treated alloy the SAS has an inner rim width of 30mm, an external rim width of 36mm and is recommended for tyres ranging between 2.25 to 2.8 inch. The Shimano TC600 centrelock rotor disc mount, boost rear hub is part of the new Shimano CUES range of hubs with quick engagement freehubs and labyrinth seals. It is recommended for use with MTB, e-MTB, and cargo biking. The hub is set for 148mm x 12mm boost with a Shimano HG freehub that will take 8 to 12 speed MTB cassettes, or up to 10 speed road cassettes. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hub with Halo black spokes and nipples. Wheels have been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations.
