27.5 Inch 650b Halo SAS Rim, Shimano M475 Hubs 6-Bolt Rear Wheel, 135mm QR, Shimano HG

These 27.5 inch 650b Mountain bike rear wheels incorporate black 32 hole Halo SAS rims, black Shimano M475, 6-bolt disc rear hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. The SAS from Halo is a multi-purpose heavy duty MTB rim with a proven record for re-defining strength. Made from T-10 heat treated alloy the SAS has an inner rim width of 30mm, an external rim width of 36mm and is recommended for tyres ranging between 2.25 to 2.8 inch. For use with 6-bolt disc brake rotors and quick release dropouts, the Shimano M475 hubs use cup and cone bearings, and double contact sealing prevents mud ingress. The hubs are set for 135mm quick release (skewer provided), with a Shimano HG freehub that will take 8 to 12 speed MTB cassettes, or up to 10 speed road cassettes. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Halo black spokes and nipples. Wheels have been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations.
