These 27.5 inch 650b Mountain bike rear wheels incorporate black 36 hole Halo T2 rims, black Shimano TC600, centrelock disc rear boost hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. The T2 is Halos’ middle weight multi-purpose mountain bike rim. It features a strong box section with T-10 heat treated material and can be used with Disc or V- Brakes for a range of riding applications. With an inner rim width of 26mm and outer rim width of 32mm the T2 is suitable for tyres between 1.95 and 2.5 inch. The Shimano TC600 centrelock rotor disc mount, boost rear hub is part of the new Shimano CUES range of hubs with quick engagement freehubs and labyrinth seals. It is recommended for use with MTB, e-MTB, and cargo biking. The hub is set for 148mm x 12mm boost with a Shimano HG freehub that will take 8 to 12 speed MTB cassettes, or up to 10 speed road cassettes. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hub with Halo black spokes and nipples. Wheels have been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations.
