These 27.5 inch 650b Mountain bike wheelsets incorporate black 32 hole Kinlin TL29 Disc rims, black Shimano QC400, centrelock disc hubs, Halo silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. The Kinlin TL29 is another beautifully made rim made from fatigue resistant neobium alloy. This tubeless compatible rim with an inner rim width of 30mm, outer rim width of 35mm, and rim depth of 19mm has a 2mm thick nipple head that makes it very strong. This rim is ideal for cross country and all mountain usage. Recommended tyre size of 40-72mm (up to 2.8 inch). The Shimano QC400 centrelock rotor disc mount hubs are part of the new Shimano CUES range of hubs with quick engagement freehubs and labyrinth seals. Recommended for use with MTB, e-MTB, and cargo biking. The hubs are set for 100mm and 135mm quick release – skewers provided. The rear Shimano HG freehub will take 8 to 12 speed MTB cassettes, or up to 10 speed road cassettes. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Halo silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Wheels have been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations. Wheels are bubble wrapped and boxed properly.
