These 27.5 inch 650b Mountain bike wheelsets incorporate black 32 hole Mavic XM119 Disc rims, black Shimano Deore XT M756, 6-bolt disc rear hubs, Halo silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Wide enough to use large volume tyres (23 to 62 mm), and specially designed with the constraint of disc brakes in mind, the black anodised Mavic XM119 Disc is one of the highest quality entry level rims on the market. They can be used with Schrader or Presta valved tubes – valve adapter supplied. The Shimano Deore XT M756 disc rear hubs are the perfect partners for Shimano’s Deore XT hydraulic disc brake system. The hub shells are made from anodised aluminium with a strong 9mm CrMo axle on the rear. They have sealed contact bearings to increase service life by preventing water and mud ingress, and low-friction Borozon treated bearing races for a precision rolling action. The hubs are set for 100mm/135mm quick release – skewers provided. The rear Shimano HG freehub will take 8 to 12 speed MTB cassettes, or up to 10 speed road cassettes. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Halo silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Wheels have been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations. Wheels are bubble wrapped and boxed properly.
