These 27.5 inch 650b Mountain bike rear wheels incorporate black 32 hole Mavic XM119 Disc rims, black Shimano MT400, centrelock disc rear hubs, Halo silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Wide enough to use large volume tyres (23 to 62 mm), and specially designed with the constraint of disc brakes in mind, the black anodised Mavic XM119 Disc is one of the highest quality entry level rims on the market. They can be used with Schrader or Presta valved tubes – valve adapter supplied. The black anodised and polished Shimano MT400 centrelock disc mount E-Thru hubs are very durable and reliable. The hub body made of aluminium and the steel axle ensure for high stiffness of the wheel without raising the weight. This wheel is set for 142mm x 12mm, with a Shimano HG freehub that will take 8 to 12 speed MTB cassettes, or up to 10 speed road cassettes. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hub with Halo silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Wheels have been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations. Wheels are bubble wrapped and boxed properly.
