These hand built 27.5 inch 650b mountain bike, touring/trekking specific wheelsets incorporate brand new Ryde Rival 30 disc brake specific black 32 hole rims, brand new Shimano CUES TC500 front, and TC500 rear centrelock hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. The Rival range of rims from Ryde are suitable for mountain bike use but also ideal for trekking and touring bikes. With an internal rim width of 30mm, the strong and capable Rival 30 is perfect for MTB and trekking bikes with wider tyres. The Rival 30 rims are tubeless compatible and capable of taking tyres up to 2.8″. The Shimano TC500/TC500 centrelock rotor disc mount hubs are part of the new Shimano CUES range of hubs. They comprise cartridge bearings and contact seals to extend hub life. They are recommended for use with MTB, e-MTB, and cargo biking. The hubs are set for 100mm x 15mm front, and 142mm x 12mm rear. The freehub will take 8 to 12 speed standard Shimano HG fit MTB cassettes, or 10 speed road cassettes. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with new Halo black spokes and nipples.
