These newly hand built 28 inch 700c gravel bike wheelsets incorporate brand new black 28 hole DT Swiss G500 db disc rims, brand new black Bitex BX201FG front and MTR12 rear, 6-bolt disc specific hubs, Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. The new G500 disc gravel rim from DT Swiss is the product of DT’s ongoing investment into in-house European rim design and manufacturing. It features a new angular profile which offers reduced weight (only 496 g compared with 570 g for the G540 rim), and improved comfort with a new, 26 mm internal width designed for even the widest of modern gravel tyres. They can be used with either standard clinchers or tubeless tyres. A sleeved construction gives a great balance between weight, value and durability. Presta drilled with a suggested maximum system weight of 130kg. The black anodised and polished, sealed bearing Bitex BX201FG and MTR12 6-bolt hubs are good lightweight hubs that are both reliable and durable – ideal for a road/gravel disc setup with a range of freehub options. Choose between 100mm QR, 100mm x 12mm, or 100mm x 15mm for the front axle; and 135mm QR, or 142mm x 12mm for the rear axle. Also choose between a standard 11 speed Shimano HG freehub (supplied with a spacer for fewer speeds), a SRAM XD driver, a SRAM XDR driver, or a Shimano Microspline freehub. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with new Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Price includes Parcelforce 48 tracked and insured delivery.
