28 Inch 700c DT Swiss Gravel G500 Disc Rim, Black Shimano CUES QC500B 141mm QR Boost Centrelock Hub Rear Wheels, Shimano HG

These hand built 28 inch 700c gravel bike rear wheels incorporate brand new black 32 hole DT Swiss G500 db disc rims, brand new black Shimano QC500B rear, centrelock disc hubs, Halo silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. The new G500 disc gravel rim from DT Swiss is the product of DT’s ongoing investment into in-house European rim design and manufacturing. It features a new angular profile which offers reduced weight (only 496 g compared with 570 g for the G540 rim), and improved comfort with a new, 26 mm internal width designed for even the widest of modern gravel tyres. They can be used with either standard clinchers or tubeless tyres. A sleeved construction gives a great balance between weight, value and durability. Presta drilled with a suggested maximum system weight of 130kg. The Shimano QC500B boost rear centrelock disc rotor mount hubs are part of the new Shimano CUES range of components. They comprise cartridge bearings and contact seals to extend hub life. The rear Shimano HG freehub will take 8 to 12 speed Shimano HG MTB cassettes, or 8 to 10 speed Shimano HG road cassettes. The hubs are set for 141mm boost quick release – skewer provided. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with new Halo silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples.
