These hand built 28 inch 700c gravel bike wheelsets incorporate brand new black 32 hole DT Swiss G540 db disc rims, brand new black Shimano TC500 front, and QC500B boost rear, centrelock disc hubs, Halo silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. After extensive testing DT Swiss have settled on a full 24mm as the perfect width for modern Gravel bikes. The added width gives better support to wide, 35c or larger tyres, allowing the use of lower pressures, enhancing grip & comfort whilst reducing rolling resistance & tyre flex under cornering. Robust, sleeved construction gives a great value package for a wide gravel rim with a suggested maximum system weight of 130kg. The rims can be used with or without tubes. The Shimano TC500 front, and QC500B rear centrelock disc rotor mount hubs are part of the new Shimano CUES range of components. They comprise cartridge bearings and contact seals to extend hub life. The rear Shimano Microspline freehub will take 12-speed Microspline cassettes only. The hubs are set for 100mm x 15mm, and 141mm QR boost – skewer provided. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with new Halo silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Price includes Parcelforce 48 tracked and insured delivery.
