These 28 inch 700c road, cyclocross, or gravel bike rear wheels incorporate brand new black 32 hole DT Swiss R500 db disc rims, brand new black Shimano QC400, centrelock disc specific hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. The DT Swiss R500 db disc brake 22mm road rim will support all riding styles, no matter where the road or trail takes you. Capable of being your reliable companion for thousands of miles when you’re in the saddle, the R500 finds the perfect balance between price and performance. Featuring a 22mm internal rim width, perfect to provide the perfect tyre profile on modern wide tyres. The rims can be used with or without tubes. The Shimano QC400 centrelock disc rotor mount hubs are part of the new Shimano CUES range of components. They comprise cartridge bearings and contact seals to extend hub life. The hubs are set for 135mm quick release – skewer provided. The rear Shimano HG freehub will take 8 to 12 speed Shimano HG MTB cassettes, or 8 to 10 speed Shimano HG road cassettes.
