These hand built 28 inch 700c road/gravel bike wheelsets incorporate brand new black 32 hole DT Swiss E470 db disc rims, and brand new black Bitex BX601F front Lefty 50 and MTR12 rear, 6-bolt disc specific hubs. The new E470 disc road endurance rim from DT Swiss is the product of DT’s ongoing investment into in-house European rim design and manufacturing. It features a new angular profile which offers reduced weight (469g), and improved comfort with a new, 24 mm internal width designed to be optimal with tyres from 28 to 40c. They can be used with either standard clinchers or tubeless tyres. A sleeved construction gives a great balance between weight, value and durability. Presta drilled with a suggested maximum system weight of 120kg. The black anodised and polished, sealed bearing, Bitex BX601F and MTR12 hubs weigh just 410g and are ideal for road, gravel, and XC. The hubs are set for 100mm Lefty 50 front, and 142mm x 12mm rear. The BX601F Lefty 50 will fit Lefty Oliver, Lefty 2.0, Supermax, and all older Lefty (2001-2014). Choose between a standard 11 speed Shimano HG freehub, a SRAM XD driver, a SRAM XDR driver, or Shimano Microspline freehub. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples.
