These 28 inch 700c road/gravel bike rear wheels incorporate brand new 32 hole black DT Swiss E470 db disc rims, brand new black Shimano RS470 centrelock disc specific rear hubs, and Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. The new E470 disc road endurance rim from DT Swiss is the product of DT’s ongoing investment into in-house European rim design and manufacturing. It features a new angular profile which offers reduced weight (469g), and improved comfort with a new, 24 mm internal width designed to be optimal with tyres from 28 to 40c. They can be used with either standard clinchers or tubeless tyres. A sleeved construction gives a great balance between weight, value and durability. Presta drilled with a suggested maximum system weight of 120kg. The black anodised and polished Shimano RS470 rear hubs are good value 12mm through axle centrelock rotor fitment road/gravel hubs. They comprise high quality cup and cone bearings and a special Boron Nitride machining process is applied to the cones for super smooth rotation. The freehub can take up to 11 speed Shimano HG road cassettes. The hubs are set for 142mm x 12mm through axle. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Price includes insured and tracked postage.
