These 28 inch 700c road, cyclocross, or gravel bike rear wheels incorporate brand new black 32 hole DT Swiss R500 db disc rims, brand new black Shimano 105 R7070 centrelock disc specific hubs. The DT Swiss R500 db disc brake 22mm road rim will support all riding styles, no matter where the road or trail takes you. Capable of being your reliable companion for thousands of miles when you’re in the saddle, the R500 finds the perfect balance between price and performance. Featuring a 22mm internal rim width, perfect to provide the perfect tyre profile on modern wide tyres. The rims can be used with or without tubes. The R7070 105 series centrelock mount disc hubs have excellent sealing performance through the use of low friction Labyrinth and contact seals, and an internal grease sleeve. They have cold forged aluminium hub shells with an anodised finish. Special Boron Nitride machining process is applied to the cones for super smooth rotation. The rear freehub body is designed for 11-speed road cassettes, and transfers power rapidly with pawl engagement every 10 degrees. The hubs are set for 142mm x 12mm. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Price includes insured and tracked postage.
