The DT Swiss RR421 db road rim offers a full 20 mm of internal width making it the perfect match for the latest endurance road disc brake bikes but weighs in at only 430 grams. It has an asymmetrical rim profile to counteract the off-set produced by using disc brake hubs, improving spoke angles and allowing for more even tension, strengthening and stiffening the wheel. Strength Boost Welding Technology creates a perfectly welded join for a durable, reliable rim. The suggested maximum system weight is 120 KG. The rims can be used with or without tubes. The Bitex BX106 hubs are good lightweight centrelock hubs that are both reliable and durable – ideal for a road/gravel disc setup with a range of freehub options. The hub is set for 135mm QR. Choose between a standard 11 speed road Shimano HG freehub, SRAM XDR driver, or Campagnolo 11/12 speed freehub.
