28 inch 700c Mavic A319 V-Brake Wheelsets, Black Shimano Deore XT M756 6-Bolt Hubs, 100mm 135mm QR, Touring

This is for some newly hand built 28 inch 700c trekking or touring specific wheelsets incorporating brand new Mavic A319 black 36 hole rims, brand new black Shimano Deore XT M756 front and rear 6-bolt disc hubs, Halo black plain gauge spokes and black brass nipples. The Mavic A319 clincher rim features high quality 6106 aluminium alloy with double eyelets. The rim has an inner rim width of 19mm and an outer rim width of 25mm making it ideal for trekkers and tourers, with recommended tyre widths of between 28mm to 47mm. A valve hole adapter means that either Presta or Schrader valved tubes can be used. The Shimano Deore XT M756 disc hubset are the perfect partners for Shimano’s Deore XT hydraulic disc brake system. The hub shells are made from anodised aluminium with a strong 9mm CrMo axle on the rear. They have sealed contact bearings to increase service life by preventing water and mud ingress, and low-friction Borozon treated bearing races for a precision rolling action. The hubs are set up for 100mm QR front, and 135mm QR rear – skewers provided. The rear freehub will take 8 to 12 speed standard Shimano HG fit MTB cassettes, or 10 speed Shimano HG road cassettes. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with new Halo black plain gauge spokes and black brass nipples. This wheelset can be used as rim or disc brake. This beautiful wheelset has been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations. Wheels are bubble wrapped and boxed properly.
