28 inch 700c Ryde Sputnik Rim, Black or Silver Bitex RAR12 Hub Rear Wheels, 32H, 135mm QR, Shimano HG/Campagnolo/SRAM XDR

This is for some newly hand built 700c road bike rear wheels incorporating brand new black or silver Ryde Sputnik rim-brake 32 hole rims, brand new black or silver Bitex RAR12 rear hubs. The Sputnik is the eyeleted version of the Andra 30 and just as popular among world travellers. All Andra rims are built to withstand and carry more load than regular rims and can ideally be used for not only regular e-bikes, but also transport bikes with or without motor support with a maximum system weight of 120kg. This rim brake specific rim has an inner rim width of 19mm and outer rim width of 25mm, and a recommended tyre width of 28mm to 57mm (1.25 inch to 2.25 inch). The Bitex RAR12 anodised and polished rear hubs are nice and light and suited to a wide variety of applications. The hubs are fitted with ABEC 5 TPI bearings which make them very reliable and durable. Choose between a standard 11 speed Shimano HG freehub (supplied with a spacer for fewer speeds), 11/12 speed Campagnolo freehub, or SRAM XDR 12 speed driver. The six pawl freehubs (two sets of three) give 48pts of engagement making them very responsive. Hubs are set for 135mm quick release. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. These beautiful wheels have been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations. Wheels are bubble wrapped and boxed properly.
