These 29 inch 700c Mountain bike rear wheels incorporate black 32 hole Halo T2 rims, black Shimano MT400, centrelock disc rear hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. The T2 is Halos’ middle weight multi-purpose mountain bike rim. It features a strong box section with T-10 heat treated material and can be used with Disc or V- Brakes for a range of riding applications. With an inner rim width of 26mm and outer rim width of 32mm the T2 is suitable for tyres between 1.95 and 2.5 inch. The black anodised and polished Shimano MT400 centrelock disc mount E-Thru hubs are very durable and reliable. The hub body made of aluminium and the steel axle ensure for high stiffness of the wheel without raising the weight. This wheel is set for 142mm x 12mm, with a Shimano HG freehub that will take 8 to 12 speed MTB cassettes, or up to 10 speed road cassettes. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hub with Halo black spokes and nipples. Wheels have been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations.
