These 29 inch 700c touring, trekking, and mountain bike wheelsets incorporate black 36 hole Ryde Andra 29 disc rims, black Shimano QC400 front and QC500 rear, centrelock disc hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. All Andra rims are built to withstand and carry more load than regular rims and can ideally be used for not only regular e-bikes, but also transport bikes with or without motor support. The Andra 29 rims are the strongest in Ryde’s line-up. Its versatility is so great that it can be used for cargo bikes to mountain bikes and can take loads of up to 180kg. The 29mm internal width works perfectly with wider tyres up to 3 inch. The Shimano QC400 and QC500 centrelock disc rotor mount hubs are part of the new Shimano CUES range of components. They comprise cartridge bearings and contact seals to extend hub life. The hubs are set for 100mm and 135mm quick release – skewers provided. The rear Shimano Microspline freehub will take Microspline cassettes only. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Halo black spokes and nipples.
