These 29 inch 700c touring, trekking, ebike and mountain bike wheelsets incorporate black 36 hole Ryde Andra 29 disc rims, black Shimano TC500, centrelock disc hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. All Andra rims are built to withstand and carry more load than regular rims and can ideally be used for not only regular e-bikes, but also transport bikes with or without motor support. The Andra 29 rims are the strongest in Ryde’s line-up. Its versatility is so great that it can be used for cargo bikes to mountain bikes and can take loads of up to 180kg. The 29mm internal width works perfectly with wider tyres up to 3 inch. The Shimano TC500 centrelock rotor disc mount hubs are part of the new Shimano CUES range of hubs. They comprise cartridge bearings and contact seals to extend hub life. They are recommended for use with MTB, e-MTB, and cargo biking. The hubs are set for 100mm x 15mm front, and 142mm x 12mm rear. The rear Shimano HG freehub will take 8 to 12 speed Shimano HG MTB cassettes, or 8 to 10 speed Shimano HG road cassettes. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Halo black spokes and nipples.
