These 29 inch 700c touring, trekking, ebike and mountain bike rear wheels incorporate black 36 hole Ryde Andra 29 disc rims, black Shimano TC500, centrelock disc rear hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. All Andra rims are built to withstand and carry more load than regular rims and can ideally be used for not only regular e-bikes, but also transport bikes with or without motor support. The Andra 29 rims are the strongest in Ryde’s line-up. Its versatility is so great that it can be used for cargo bikes to mountain bikes and can take loads of up to 180kg. The 29mm internal width works perfectly with wider tyres up to 3 inch. The Shimano TC500 centrelock rotor disc mount, rear hub is part of the new Shimano CUES range of hubs. They comprise cartridge bearings and contact seals to extend hub life. They are recommended for use with MTB, e-MTB, and cargo biking. The hub is set for 142mm x 12mm. The rear Shimano Microspline freehub will take Microspline cassettes only. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Halo black spokes and nipples.
