These 29 inch 700c touring, trekking, ebike and mountain bike rear wheels incorporate black 36 hole Ryde Andra 40 disc rims, black Shimano TC500, centrelock disc rear hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. All Andra rims are built to withstand and carry more load than regular rims and can ideally be used for not only regular e-bikes, but also transport bikes with or without motor support. The Andra 40 rim is the solution to get the strongest wheels for hard used bikes and can take up to 180 kg. From cargo bikes to family bikes (‘bakfiets’) to mountain-bike downhill bikes. The 25 mm internal width works perfectly with all the wider tyres (37-62mm) that are available. If it has to last, take the Andra 40. The Shimano TC500 centrelock rotor disc mount, rear hub is part of the new Shimano CUES range of hubs. They comprise cartridge bearings and contact seals to extend hub life. They are recommended for use with MTB, e-MTB, and cargo biking. The hub is set for 142mm x 12mm. The rear Shimano Microspline freehub will take Microspline cassettes only.
