These 29 inch 700c touring, trekking, and mountain bike rear wheels incorporate black 36 hole Ryde Andra 40 disc rims, black Shimano TC600, centrelock disc rear boost hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. All Andra rims are built to withstand and carry more load than regular rims and can ideally be used for not only regular e-bikes, but also transport bikes with or without motor support. The Andra 40 rim is the solution to get the strongest wheels for hard used bikes and can take up to 180 kg. From cargo bikes to family bikes (‘bakfiets’) to mountain-bike downhill bikes. The 25 mm internal width works perfectly with all the wider tyres (37-62mm) that are available. If it has to last, take the Andra 40. The Shimano TC600 centrelock rotor disc mount, boost rear hub is part of the new Shimano CUES range of hubs with quick engagement freehubs and labyrinth seals. It is recommended for use with MTB, e-MTB, and cargo biking. The hub is set for 148mm x 12mm boost with a Shimano HG freehub that will take 8 to 12 speed MTB cassettes, or up to 10 speed road cassettes. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hub with Halo black spokes and nipples. Wheels have been hand trued, dished and spokes tensioned according to rim manufacturers recommendations.
