These 29 inch 700c touring, trekking, ebike and downhill specific rear wheels incorporate brand new Ryde Andra 40 V-/rim brake specific black 36 hole rims, brand new Shimano CUES QC500 hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. All Andra rims are built to withstand and carry more load than regular rims and can ideally be used for not only regular e-bikes, but also transport bikes with or without motor support. The Andra 40 rim is the solution to get the strongest wheels for hard used bikes and can take up to 180 kg. From cargo bikes to family bikes (‘bakfiets’) to mountain-bike downhill bikes. The 25 mm internal width works perfectly with all the wider tyres (37-62mm) that are available. If it has to last, take the Andra 40. The Shimano QC500 rear centrelock disc rotor mount hubs are part of the new Shimano CUES range of components. They comprise cartridge bearings and contact seals to extend hub life. The hubs are set for 135mm quick release – skewer provided. The rear Shimano Microspline freehub will take Shimano Microspline 12-speed cassettes only.
