These 29 inch 700c touring, trekking, and ebike specific rear wheels incorporate brand new Mavic A319 V-/rim brake specific silver 36 hole rims, brand new Shimano CUES QC500 rear hubs, Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. The A319 rim from Mavic is ideal for trekking and touring. Featuring high quality 6106 alloy and double eyelets, this 25 mm wide rim – with an internal rim width of 19mm – is strong, durable and allows the use of tyres up to 50 mm. The braking surfaces are precisely CNC machined for optimum performance, and an adapter is provided allowing the use of Presta or Schrader tube valves. The Shimano QC500 centrelock disc rotor mount hubs are part of the new Shimano CUES range of components. They comprise cartridge bearings and contact seals to extend hub life. The hubs are set for 135mm quick release – skewer provided. The rear Shimano Microspline freehub will take Microspline 12-speed cassettes only. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Price includes insured and tracked Parcelforce postage.
