These 29 inch 700c touring, trekking, and ebike specific wheelsets incorporate brand new Ryde Sputnik V-/rim brake specific silver 36 hole rims, brand new Bitex BX207 hubs, Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. The Sputnik is the eyeleted version of the Andra 30 and just as popular among world travellers. All Andra rims are built to withstand and carry more load than regular rims and can ideally be used for not only regular e-bikes, but also transport bikes with or without motor support with a maximum system weight of 120kg. This rim brake specific rim has an inner rim width of 19mm and outer rim width of 25mm, and a recommended tyre width of 28mm to 57mm (1.25 inch to 2.25 inch). The black, anodised and polished, sealed bearing, Bitex BX207 hubs with 6-bolt brake disc mount, and 6 pawls/54t engagement steel freehubs, are ideal for wheels requiring strong hubs. The front hub has four bearings, and the rear hub has six bearings. The hubs are set for 100mm and 135mm quick release with a steel axle on the rear – skewers provided. Choose between a steel Shimano HG freehub that will take 8 to 12 speed Shimano HG fit MTB cassettes, or 8 to 11 speed road cassettes; or a steel SRAM XD driver.
