These 700c e-bike/trekking/touring/mountain bike rear wheels incorporate brand new black 32 hole DT Swiss U623 hybrid disc rims, brand new black Shimano TC500 rear, centrelock disc hubs, Halo silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. The new DT Swiss U623 hybrid rim is a super-durable disc brake touring, trekking and E-bike rim for the 21st century, giving a great value option for a huge range of bikes. With an inner rim width of 25mm, and outer rim width of 30mm, the U623 is ideal for tyres ranging between 33-60c. The tubeless ready optimised rim bed provides fast tyre installation, a great tyre fit, and quick trouble-free tubeless setup. However, it can be run just fine with traditional clinchers if you prefer. The rim is drilled for Schrader valves but includes an adapter for Presta valves. The U623 features a thicker, reinforced spoke bed, increasing pull-through force by 20% at a key failure point for E-bikes, and greatly extending fatigue life for minimal weight gain. It has a fantastic system weight limit of 180 kg, which means that even heavily laden cargo bikes will be fine on the U623. The Shimano TC500 rear centrelock disc rotor mount hubs are part of the new Shimano CUES range of components. They comprise cartridge bearings and contact seals to extend hub life. The rear Shimano Microspline freehub will take 12 speed Shimano Microspline cassettes only. The hubs are set for 142mm x 12mm thru axle. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with new Halo silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Price includes Parcelforce 48 tracked and insured delivery.
