700c DT Swiss U623 Hybrid Disc Rim, Shimano 105 R7070 Centrelock Hub Front Wheels, 100mm x 12mm

These 700c e-bike/trekking/touring/mountain bike front wheels incorporate brand new black 32 hole DT Swiss U623 hybrid disc rims, brand new black Shimano 105 R7070 centrelock disc specific hubs, and Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. The new DT Swiss U623 hybrid rim is a super-durable disc brake touring, trekking and E-bike rim for the 21st century, giving a great value option for a huge range of bikes. With an inner rim width of 25mm, and outer rim width of 30mm, the U623 is ideal for tyres ranging between 33-60c. The tubeless ready optimised rim bed provides fast tyre installation, a great tyre fit, and quick trouble-free tubeless setup. However, it can be run just fine with traditional clinchers if you prefer. The rim is drilled for Schrader valves but includes an adapter for Presta valves. The U623 features a thicker, reinforced spoke bed, increasing pull-through force by 20% at a key failure point for E-bikes, and greatly extending fatigue life for minimal weight gain. It has a fantastic system weight limit of 180 kg, which means that even heavily laden cargo bikes will be fine on the U623. The R7070 105 series centrelock mount disc hubs have excellent sealing performance through the use of low friction Labyrinth and contact seals, and an internal grease sleeve. They have cold forged aluminium hub shells with an anodised finish. Special Boron Nitride machining process is applied to the cones for super smooth rotation. The hubs are set for 100mm x 12mm. The rims are 3-cross laced to the hubs with Sapim Leader silver stainless steel spokes and nickel plated brass nipples. Price includes insured and tracked postage.
