These 29 inch 700c touring bike, mountain bike, and ebike specific wheelsets incorporate brand new Ryde Andra 40 rim/V-brake specific black 36 hole rims, brand new black Bitex BX207 heavy duty front and rear hubs, Halo black spokes and nipples. All Andra rims are built to withstand and carry more load than regular rims and can ideally be used for not only regular e-bikes, but also transport bikes with or without motor support. The Andra 40 rim is the solution to get the strongest wheels for hard used bikes and can take up to 180 kg. From cargo bikes to family bikes (‘bakfiets’) to mountain-bike downhill bikes. The 25 mm internal width works perfectly with all the wider tyres (37-62mm) that are available. If it has to last, take the Andra 40. The heavy duty black anodised and polished Bitex BX207 hubs are ideal for a range of applications requiring strength. The front hub has 4 sealed bearings and the rear has 6 sealed bearings. In addition, the rear freehubs have 6 pawls and 54 points of engagement. The hubs are set for 100mm and 135mm QR with a steel axle on the rear – skewers provided. Choose between a steel Shimano HG freehub that will take 8 to 12 speed Shimano HG fit MTB cassettes, or 8 to 11 speed road cassettes; or a steel SRAM XD driver.
